Qualification and Experience

  • Higher level or specialized education.
  • +5 years’ experience in area of HSE
  • Preferred work experience with multi culture & in foreign company.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, Arabic languages.

Duty and Responsibility

The Shore base HSE Supervisor is at a minimum responsible for the following duties:

  • Establishing shore base safety programs and policies in accordance with COMPANY standards.
  • Conducting safety assessments of all areas at the shore base and Port and vessels to determine quality and effectiveness of the safety management systems.
  • Advising shore base and Port supervisors and personnel on safety, health and
    environmental related issues.
  • Facilitating daily toolbox meetings prior to startup of every shift and ensuring that a Job Safety Analysis’ (“]5A”) is conducted prior to start every task.
  • Supervising incident investigations and preparation of reports.
  • Supervising daily inspection of all shore base equipment (cranes, forklifts, etc.) prior to Startup in conjunction with COMPANY LTA.
  • Supervising the maintenance program for all shore base equipment (cranes, forklifts, etc.) to ensure all equipment is in safe working order in conjunction with COMPANY LTA.
  • Manages the maintenance program for all rigging equipment (slings, shackles, come- a- longs, etc), to include inspection and certification, within respective inspection/certification time frames in conjunction with COMPANY LTA.
  • Ensuring all Material Safety Data Sheets (“MSDS”), to be loaded/off loaded, including copies of MSDS for the shore base, the rig, and each vessel.

The HSE Supervisor shall also perform such other duties as may be requested or be
necessary for the performance of Services hereunder.

  • The HSE Supervisor will be fluent in English and local language.

  • Reporting to COMPANY Head Office as per Eni standard
